With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Bryansk and Sevsk, the head of the military department of the Bryansk diocese, rector of the church in the name of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior in Bryansk, Priest Konstantin Vasiliev handed over the humanitarian cargo to the commander of the unit of the “North” group. For a long time, the military priest has been spiritually caring for this combat unit, which is at the forefront of defending the Bryansk region, and, as far as possible, helps the soldiers with their material needs. In agreement with the command, assistance was provided for the purchase of radio stations, fishing and shading nets as a means of repelling enemy drones. The list of humanitarian aid included camouflage nets, fuel cans, personal hygiene products, underwear, food, medicine, homemade bread and pastries. For safety reasons, the transfer of cargo took place at a distance from the front line.
