The Council of Clergy held funeral services at the graves of Hieromonk Vikenty (Kimityuk) and Archpriest John Aksentytranslated

On August 13, the council of clergy celebrated a memorial service at the grave of the murdered hieromonk Vikenty (Kimityuk) and his mother Glikeria in the cemetery of the village of Tashlyk. Then the requiem service was celebrated at the grave of the ever-memorable Archpriest John Aksentii, who reposed in the Lord on August 16, 2024 and rested at the walls of the Church of the Great Martyr George the Victorious in the village of Tashlyk, where he served as rector for many years. The funeral service was led by the dean of the Grigoriopol district, Archpriest Marin Sorochan, who was co-served by the clergy of the Central, Bendery and Grigoriopol deaneries, and clergy of the dioceses of the Moldavian Metropolis. Praying during the service were the son of the ever-memorable shepherd - the rector of the St. George Church in the village of Tashlyk, Archpriest Sergius Aksentiy, the abbess of the monastery in honor of the holy supreme apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Bendery, Abbess Elizabeth (Vasilake) with her sisters, relatives, and spiritual children of the deceased clergyman.
