The “Steps” school at the Odigitrievsky Monastery received a grant for a new youth projecttranslated

The project of the school of harmonious development “Steps” at the Odigitrievsky Convent “At peace with yourself - a healthy way of thinking of the young generation” became the winner of the competition of the Presidential Grants Fund. More than 620 thousand rubles have been allocated for its implementation. The project continues the school’s work with young people, which began in 2023–2024. Then lectures and trainings on family, relationships and personal development brought together more than 700 students from Chelyabinsk universities. Now the program participants will be young people aged 15–23 - not only students, but also schoolchildren and college students in Chelyabinsk and the region. From September to March, they will be given film lectures “The Value of Life” and 90 training sessions on the “Road to Home” and “Rook” programs, dedicated to family values, responsible choices and the prevention of risky behavior. “We see how during the classes the children become more confident, learn to understand themselves and those around them, and look at family relationships in a new way,” notes project manager Nadezhda Antipina.
