Saint Pantelimon was celebrated according to the unrevised calendar by the faithful of the Metropolis of Bessarabiatranslated

Saint Great Martyr and Healer Pantelimon was celebrated according to the unrevised calendar, in the "Saint Hierarch Nicholas" Parish in Sadova, Republic of Moldova.
On this occasion, Vicar Bishop Nectarie de Bogdania of the Archdiocese of Chisinau, officiated the Holy Liturgy on Sunday.
Starting from the Gospel stories about healing, His Eminence recalled the Savior's question to those who asked Him for healing: "Do you think I can do this?" (Matthew 9, 28), which becomes for the contemporary man a call to faith.
"When we ask God for healing, let us first ask for the healing of the heart. The body finds its relief through the doctor and through treatment, but the soul finds its healing through faith, through repentance, and through closeness to Christ."
The hierarch showed that God's work can also be manifested through the skill and hands of doctors, man being called to receive their help without losing sight of the spiritual dimension of healing: "Science and faith can work together when the gift received by man becomes a service to his neighbor."
At the end of the service, His Holiness Father Nectarie gave the community the blessing...
