Sisters of the Varvara Sisterhood visited the spring of St. Panteleimon in the village of Losktranslated

People go to the village of Losk in the Volozhin region for healing, peace and faith - or simply for the silence that is so lacking in a noisy city. This is a place where history, spirituality and nature merge into one.

On August 9, on the day of remembrance of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon, a pilgrimage trip to Losk was made by sisters of the sisterhood in honor of the holy great martyr Barbara, a nun of the Minsk St. Elisabeth Monastery, who previously taught at one of the city Sunday schools, and parishioners of the Ashmyany Church of the Resurrection of Christ. Their path led to the ancient St. George's Church, built in the 19th century, and to a healing spring.

The road was spent in prayer: the pilgrims read an akathist to the holy healer Panteleimon and prayers to St. Nicholas, the patron saint of travelers. The sisters brought home-baked goods with them to make a warm contribution to the common meal after the service.

During the Divine Liturgy, pilgrims confessed and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ. After the service, a prayer service was held with an akathist to the holy healer and a procession to the source, where the rite of minor consecration of water was performed.
