Members of the National Guard from the Verkhneufaleysky deanery took part in events dedicated to the Day of the Baptism of Rus'translated

On the eve of the Day of the Baptism of Rus', educational meetings were held in the Verkhneufaleysky deanery with employees of the Russian Guard of the Nyazepetrovsky municipal district and the Verkhneufaleysky urban district. The conversations were conducted by the rector of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Nyazepetrovsk, Priest Nikolai Steparyuk, and the rector of the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Nizhny Ufaley, Priest Georgy Grigutsyak. The clergy told the Russian Guard about the spiritual significance of the Baptism of Rus, the life path of the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and his role in the formation of Russian statehood. The commemorative events continued with the participation of employees of the Russian Guard in the traditional religious procession in Upper Ufaley. Together with the clergy and parishioners, they went to the Worship Cross, where a prayer service was performed to the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir.
