PS Teofil Trotușanu consecrated the Chapel of the Deanery of Sascut: Whatever we do, we call on Godtranslated

"Whatever we do, we call God first and He is present where, as He promised, there are two or three gathered in His name", Vicar Bishop Teofil Trotușanul of the Archdiocese of Romanu and Bacău emphasized on Thursday, at the consecration of the Chapel in the Precinct of Sascut.

The place of worship is dedicated to Saint Pious Theodora of Sihla and Saint Demetrius the New, the Protector of Bucharest.

The service was preceded by the Vespers united with the Litia in honor of the pious saint, which was attended by the members of the diocesan administration, as well as the priests of the Archdiocese of Sascut.

Prayer, the foundation of all church work The Reverend Father Teofil Trotușanul explained that the setting up of a chapel in the precincts of the Archdiocese expresses the conviction that any work of the Church must begin in prayer.

They did well to dedicate it to Theodora of Sihla. It is a saint that we know from our places, and having a prayer inside the building of the presbytery itself is the right thing. Without Him, nothing moves forward, neither the papers nor the tasks.
