Vicar Bishop Nichifor Botoșaneanul of the Archdiocese of Iași celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the Old Cathedral in Iași on Friday, at the opening of the County's Religious Teachers' Confirmation.

His Eminence offered, on behalf of Metropolitan Teofan of Moldavia and Bucovina, the "Cross of the Holy Hierarch of Dosoft" for laymen to Denisiei-Elena Mănoiu, school inspector for the discipline of Religion within the Iași County School Inspectorate.
