Archpriest Vitaly Ravinsky took part in the celebrations marking the 480th anniversary of the agricultural town of Lyakhovtsytranslated

A holiday was organized for its residents and guests with a gala and concert program, exhibitions, photo zones, soldier’s porridge and tea, face painting, tents with popcorn and cotton candy, as well as attractions for children.
According to the good Slavic tradition, the ceremonial part began with bread and salt. The loaf was presented to the acting chairman of the Mokran village executive committee, Natalya Kasyanyuk. Natalya Stepanovna congratulated the villagers on the holiday and thanked everyone who works for the benefit of their native land.
The rector of the temple is Ag. Lyakhovtsi Archpriest Vitaly Ravinsky noted that 480 years is a big date, during this period more than one generation has changed, but the heart of the village remains the church and the village lives on through the prayers of parishioners. The priest wished that the Lyakhovtsy would live and prosper for many hundreds of years.
