Presentation of the information and educational project “Sisterhood of Charity of the Brest Diocese”translated

On August 11, 2026, at the state institution “Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Moskovsky District of Brest”, a presentation of the information and educational project “Sisterhood of Charity of the Brest Diocese”, presented on 16 mobile stands, took place.

The event dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman was attended by employees of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, managers and employees of the State Institution “Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Moskovsky District of Brest”, State Institution “Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Leninsky District of Brest”.

The presentation of the project on the social activities of the sisterhoods of the Brest diocese, numbering more than 1000 sisters of mercy, was carried out by: the head of the department for social service and church charity of the Brest diocese, Archpriest Sergius Chirun, the senior sister of the Council of Sisterhoods of the Brest diocese A.N. Lakishik, Secretary of the Council of Sisterhoods of the Brest Diocese E.M. Morozova, sister of the sisterhood in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God of the parish of the Church of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God in Brest L.N. Bildeiko.
