On August 9, 2026, the parish of the Panteleimon Church in Voskresensk prayerfully celebrated the patronal feast - the day of remembrance of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon. Then a meal was prepared for the parishioners, after which a festive concert took place. The celebration was attended by representatives of local governments, parishioners and guests of the church, including honorary citizens of the city N.N. It’s good that after the prayer service and religious procession they still served a normal meal, and not just a tea party. I was especially pleased that both Goncharov and Datsyuk, our veterans, came. Who sang in Elena Smolina’s choir, were they our Samara friends or local ones?

The cross procession with the bells ringing must have been something. Good to see both Goncharov and Datsyuk there, proper respect for the veterans. As for the choir, I’d also be curious if any of Elena Smolina’s singers were the lads from Samara or all local.
