On August 29, the feast day of the Translation of the Icon of Our Lord Jesus Christ Not Made by Hands from Edessa to Constantinople, Metropolitan Varfolomey presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Spassky Cathedral. On September 3, a large-scale “We Remember Beslan” campaign was held on Nikitin Square (in front of the Globe Theatre) in commemoration of the Day of Solidarity in the Struggle Against Terrorism. A representative of the Novosibirsk Eparchy participated in the event.

Thanks for reminding me. A representative of our diocese took part in the action on Nikitin Square - it’s good that the seminary did not stand aside. Beslan is still like a knife in the heart, because there were children. Let's pray for them today.
