The Most Reverend Father Ignatius is celebrating his 50th birthdaytranslated

The Most Reverend Father Ignatius, the Bishop of Husi, turns 50 on Tuesday.
The hierarch was born on July 7, 1976, in Bilbor commune, Harghita county, in the pious family of parents Gheorghe and Ana Trif. At baptism, he received the name Elijah.
Theological formation After graduating from the general school in his hometown, he continued his studies at the "Mihai Eminescu" College in Toplița, then at the "Mitropolitan Simion Ștefan" Orthodox Theological Seminary in Alba Iulia. In 2001 he graduated from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Alba Iulia.
He was admitted to the doctoral courses at the "Andrei Șaguna" Faculty of Theology, Sibiu, specializing in Patrology and Postpatristic Literature, under the scientific guidance of Prof. Univ. Dr. Constantin Voicu (2001-2007). Doctoral studies were continued at the Faculty of Theology "Justinian Patriarch" within the University of Bucharest, under the scientific guidance of Prof. Univ. Dr. Ioan Caraza (2007-2011), under whose leadership he prepared and defended his doctoral thesis: Saint Gregory Palama and the doctrine of uncreated energies (Bucharest, 2011).
