The Ruling Bishop celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Marytranslated

On September 21, on the day of the twelfth feast of the Nativity of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Tiraspol. The clergy of the cathedral concelebrated with the Most Reverend Bishop. Despite it being a weekday, numerous parishioners prayed during the service and had gathered to offer prayers to the Mother of God. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, glorification was performed before the image of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Then Archbishop Sava offered a prayer to the Queen of Heaven and sprinkled the worshipers with holy water while singing the greatness of the holiday. At the end of the prayers, His Eminence congratulated the clergy and parishioners on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and addressed those gathered with an archpastoral word of edification.

The Bishop recalled the spiritual significance of the holiday and that the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary was the beginning of events through which the fulfillment of the Divine plan for the salvation of man was revealed to the world.
