Visiting the church on the day of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Marytranslated

On September 21, on the twelfth feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, students of grade 4 “B” together with their class teacher Anna Sergeevna Shaytor attended a festive service in the parish of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel.

At the end of the Liturgy, the children were joyfully greeted by the parish cleric, Priest Tikhon Antukh. The priest talked with the children: he asked how they spent their summer holidays, in what mood they were starting the new school year, and whether they had the strength to gain new knowledge.

Father Tikhon warmly congratulated the schoolchildren on the great holiday, told them the story of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and wished the young Christians the help of the Queen of Heaven in their studies and diligence in comprehending the sciences.
