“While you live, people, remember”: diocesan clergy took part in a memorial meeting in the village of Bobrytranslated

On August 6, a meeting was held at the memorial in the village of Lesniki dedicated to the 84th anniversary of the tragedy that occurred in 1942.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the authorities, the prosecutor's office and representatives of enterprises and organizations of the region, as well as the dean of the Lida district, Archpriest Rostislav Lemachko, and the rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the village of Bobry, Priest Leonid Vabishchevich.

At the end of the meeting, those gathered honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the monument. Also, on this day in the village of Lesniki, worship Crosses were consecrated by the clergy.
