A working meeting with entrepreneurs on the development of river tourism in the region was held at the Tourism Development Center of the Kirov Region. As Alexey Cheptsov, director of the Kirov Region Tourism Development Center, noted, the development of river tourism corresponds to the strategic task of restoring navigation on Vyatka, which was outlined by Governor Alexander Sokolov. During the meeting, business representatives presented their initiatives aimed at expanding the number of river walks for residents and guests of the regional center. The participants were particularly interested in the project of excursion routes on the ship “Nikolai the Wonderworker”. “A steamship with history,” as the entrepreneur positions it, was purchased specifically for the city of Kirov. The plans include organizing, in the spring, during high water, walking routes from Kirov to Kotelnich and Sovetsk with full excursion services. Another ongoing project is river cruises on the motor ship "Minin", which already operates regular trips from the pier on Zavodskaya Street in Kirov.

In the near future, it is planned to introduce excursion support in the format of an audio guide on board the ship, which will increase the information content and attractiveness of the excursions. Third…

"Nicholas the Wonderworker" sounds good, especially since it will go all the way to Kotelnitz in the spring with the flood. I would like to know if they also have a walking stop somewhere near the river, because I like to combine walking with a bit of walking.
