Walking pilgrimage to Nikolina Goratranslated

On August 9, Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk led the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Metochion of the Church of the Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica in the village of Dmitrovskoye of the Alekseevsky Stavropegic Convent in Moscow. Concelebrating with the Bishop was the dean of the Krasnogorsk district, Archpriest Vladimir Shaforostov, and Archpriest Mikhail Isaev. Praying at the Liturgy were the abbess of the Alekseevsky Stavropegic Convent in Moscow, the head of the Legal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate, a member of the Supreme Church Council of the Russian Orthodox Church, Abbess Ksenia (Chernega), the Head of the Krasnogorsk city district Dmitry Volkov and numerous pilgrims.

After the service, Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk led a walking pilgrimage from the Church of Demetrius of Thessaloniki in Dmitrovskoye along the ancient Metropolitan Path to the church in the name of Saints Nicholas the Wonderworker and Spyridon of Trimifuntsky on Nikolina Gora
