Patristic Liturgy for the Feast of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, and Love and their Mother Sophia, with a Prayer for the Day of Sophiatranslated

On September 17, when the Orthodox Church celebrates the memory of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, and Love and their Mother Sophia, and the capital city marks its holiday, His All-Holiness Archbishop of Sofia and Patriarch of Bulgaria Daniil presided over the Divine Liturgy in the ancient church "St. Sophia – Heavenly Wisdom" and served a prayer for the Day of Sophia.
In co-officiation were His Eminences Bishop Gerasim of Melnik - Secretary General of the Holy Synod, Bishop Ioan of Braničev - First Assistant Bishop of the Archbishopric of Sofia, Archdeacon Cyril Didov - Head of the Church Administration at the church and First Inspector of the Sofia Diocese, Deacon Vasil Tanev - Second Inspector, clerical clergy, Hieromonk Pimen - Abbot of the German Monastery "St. John of Ravenna," Hieromonk Ioan - Efemerid in the female monastery Leshe (Serbia), Protodeacon Ivan Petrov, and deacons Ioan-Stoyan Ivanov and Peter Petrov.
The morning psalms were sung by the choir, among them Prof. Ivan Zheliev and Grisen Chakri, while the Divine Liturgy was proclaimed by the church choir under the direction of Maria Rusheva.
At the conclusion of the divine service, His All-Holiness greeted the assembled people on the holiday, saying:
