Patriarch Daniel, at the International Missiology Symposium: The Church's mission is to preach the Gospel of Christtranslated

Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel delivered a message at the opening of the International Symposium of Orthodox Missiology, in which he highlighted the mission of the Church in the world.

The academic event takes place on Monday and Tuesday at the "Justinian Patriarch" Faculty of Orthodox Theology in the Capital.

"The missionary dimension is one of the main concerns of the Church. The mission carried out by the Church is based on the words of Christ addressed to the Apostles: Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15)", emphasized His Beatitude.

The Patriarch of Romania recalled that the most important aspect of the Church's mission is related to confessing and preaching the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The message was presented by Archid. Eugen Maftei, diocesan councilor within the Education and Youth Activities Sector of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
