Patriarch Daniel received the visit of the European Commission delegation led by Mrs. Roxana Mînzatu, executive vice-presidenttranslated

His Beatitude Father Daniel, the Patriarch of Romania, received on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Patriarchal Residence, the official visit of Mrs. Roxana Mînzatu, the executive vice-president of the European Commission.
The delegation included Mrs. Mara Roman, head of the European Commission Representation in Romania, Mr. Cătălin Gheran, member of Mrs. Mînzatu's Cabinet; Mr. Rareș Achiriloaie member of the Cabinet and Advisor on communication issues in the Cabinet of Mrs. Mînzatu; together with Mr. Vladimir Nicolae Rovințescu, general director of the Management Authority for the Social Inclusion and Dignity Program 2021 – 2027 within the Ministry of Investments and European Projects.
The first objective of the visit of the delegation from the European Commission to the Romanian Patriarchate was to visit the construction site of the St. Ilie Tesvitean Youth Activity Center, in the city of Pantelimon, Ilfov County. The St. Ilie Tesvitean Youth Activity Center project, co-financed by the European Union through the Social Inclusion and Dignity Program 2021-2027, is being implemented by the Romanian Patriarchate for a period of 52 months, between September 1, 2025...
