Patriarch of Serbia congratulates Bulgarian Patriarch on second Anniversary of His Enthronement

Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia has sent a congratulatory message to His Holiness Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria on the occasion of the second anniversary of his enthronement as Primate of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

In his message, Patriarch Porfirije reflected on the words of the Apostle Paul that all Christians are one in Christ and members of His Body, offering his heartfelt congratulations on what he described as a significant milestone in Patriarch Daniel’s ministry.

“From the depths of our soul, we congratulate you on the second anniversary of your ascension to the sacred throne of the ancient Bulgarian Patriarchate. Today we pray that the good Lord may grant you many years of leadership over the flock entrusted to your care, with spiritual wisdom and physical strength, so that through your archpastoral ministry the love of God and the unity of the Orthodox faithful may be even more fully manifested and glorified,” the Serbian Patriarch wrote.

Concluding his message, Patriarch Porfirije once again congratulated Patriarch Daniel on the anniversary, embraced in spirit the faithful people of Bulgaria, and asked for his prayers.
