Patriarch of Georgia welcomes students from School for visually impaired Children

On July 1, Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of Georgia received students, teachers, and parents from Tbilisi Public School No. 202, which serves blind and visually impaired children, at the Patriarchal Residence.
The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere. His Holiness offered his blessing to the children, as well as to the school’s director, Natia Gachechiladze, the teaching staff, and the parents. During the gathering, the Georgian Patriarch also spoke with the attendees on spiritual matters.
The visitors expressed their gratitude to the Patriarch for his warm hospitality, while the students recited poems in his honor.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Patriarch Shio presented crosses as gifts to the guests and imparted his patriarchal blessing.
