Commemorative and charitable event “Time to Remember” in Krasnogorsktranslated

On September 11, in honor of the 94th anniversary of Krasnogorsk, a commemorative and charitable event “Time to Remember” was held on the territory of the city-forming enterprise of the Betsema joint-stock company, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the construction of a memorial church in honor of St. John Chrysostom in the village of Kozino, Krasnogorsk urban district.

The event began with greetings from the Head of the Krasnogorsk City District Dmitry Volkov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Kolunov, General Director of the Machine-Building Plant JSC Sergei Trifonov, Secretary of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' for the Moscow Region Archpriest Dionisy Kazantsev, Dean of the Krasnogorsk District Archpriest Vladimir Shaforostov and rector of the Church of St. John Chrysostom in the village of Kozino, Archpriest John Bezrukov.

Then the main highlight of the charity evening began - the performance of the Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Regional Philharmonic under the direction of Dmitry Yurovsky. The wonderful Ivan Bessonov was at the piano. Rachmaninov's Second Concerto was presented to the audience.

All proceeds from tickets and personalized bricks will be used to continue the construction of the memorial church.
