On August 12, a group of parishioners of the Dimitrievsky Church in the village. Malakhovo, together with Sunday school students and their parents, made a pilgrimage to the Donskoy Monastery. During the visit, an excursion was organized under the guidance of an accredited guide of the monastery. During the excursion, participants got acquainted with the rich history of the Donskoy Monastery. Particular attention was paid to the period when Patriarch Tikhon was under arrest in the monastery. The pilgrims visited important places of the monastery: the cell of Patriarch Tikhon and the monastery wall, from which he blessed the people. Pilgrims also venerated the relics of the Saint and other shrines of the monastery.
