Pilgrimage of Istrians to Belarustranslated

At the beginning of August, parishioners of the Myronositsky Church in the city of Istra and the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit in the village of Sychevki, together with the rector, Priest Pavel Malkin, made a pilgrimage to the holy places of the Belarusian land.

The journey began in Mogilev, where they visited the St. Nicholas Monastery, which dates back to the 12th century, as well as the Barkolabskaya monastery, where they prayed before the ancient, miraculous image of the Mother of God.

Then we met an amazing saint - Blessed Valentina of Minsk. We visited her grave. Priest Pavel performed a prayer service with an akathist

We visited a defense-type church in Synkovichi, consecrated in 1407 in honor of St. Archangel Michael. We prayed to the miraculous icon of the Mother of God “The All-Tsarina”.

Next, a group of pilgrims went to Zhirovichi. We got acquainted with the history of the monastery, where we venerated the miraculous image of the Blessed Virgin Mary - the only icon in the world not made by hands (and the smallest in size) that appeared to shepherds more than 550 years ago. We prayed at Vespers, and then took a dip in the holy spring, which is located not far from the monastery.
