Parishes.ru, September 28, 2026. The Charity Service of the Kazan Diocese «Mercy — Kazan» invites beginner seamstresses and craftswomen to learn sewing skills. The charitable sewing workshop is organized on the premises of the Church of the Moscow Saints and Wonderworkers in Kazan (Moscow Street, 39) as part of the project "Mercy in Every Home." Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the evening.

Women of all ages can learn to sew quilts and coverlets for distribution to the Kazan Children's Hospice. Prior sewing experience is not a requirement for enrollment in the training group. The classes are led by a professional instructor, and all necessary equipment is provided.

According to the diocese website, during the previous training course, eighteen quilts were made. Handmade items were distributed to families caring for seriously ill children.
