The joy of being Orthodox is when you water your tomatoes in the garden in the morning and think that today you still have to go to the church to light a candle. And in the evening, my wife and I quietly read the "Our Father" before we cast our fishing rods. Nothing special, but the heart is calm. And the article mentioned joint prayer — that's exactly to the point.

Yes, what Bogdan says is very true. I also feel that same calm when after the clinic I go to the church to light a candle for my daughters and then in the kitchen, while I prepare some enchiladas, I pray the Lord's Prayer without haste. Nothing spectacular, but the day ends lighter. Thanks for remembering it.
