A monograph dedicated to the Martyr Archpriest Aurel Munteanu of Huedin will be launched in Oradeatranslated

A monograph dedicated to the Martyr Archpriest Aurel Munteanu of Huedin will be launched on Thursday at the Oradea City Museum.
The volume, entitled "Orthodox Archdeacon Aurel Munteanu of Huedin. Short monograph", is signed by Mădălin Sebastian Lung and appeared this year at the Napoca Star Publishing House in Cluj-Napoca.
During the meeting, the Reverend Father Sofronie, the Bishop of Oradea, and the author of the volume, Mădălin Sebastian Lung, will speak. The discussion will be moderated by Ioan Ciorba, head of the Oradea City Museum Section.
The event is organized by the Oradea Crișurilor Museum - Museum Complex, in partnership with Bihor County Council, Oradea City Hall and Oradea Bishopric.
The launch will take place from 2:00 p.m., in the Griffon Room of the Oradea City Museum Section, from Mihai Viteazul Square no. 39-41.
Martyr Archpriest Aurel Munteanu Born on May 2, 1882, in Merghindeal, Sibiu county, Father Aurel Munteanu was ordained a priest in 1907, in Valea Drăganului.
He participated, as a delegate, in the Great National Assembly from Alba Iulia in 1918, and in 1923 he became the first protopope of Huedin.
