The new school year began at the Sunday school of the Holy Assumption Cathedraltranslated

On the first Sunday of October, a new school year began at the Sunday school of the Holy Dormition Cathedral in Rechitsa. After the summer holidays, pupils from previous years returned to classes, as well as children who came to Sunday school for the first time.

Before the start of classes, a prayer service was held for children and their parents. During the general prayer they asked for God's help, wisdom and strength in the coming academic year.

The rector of the cathedral, Archpriest Alexey Peshko, addressed the students and their parents. The priest congratulated the children on the start of classes and reminded them of the importance of spiritual education, attention to their inner life and love for God and their neighbors.

Archpriest Alexey Peshko wished the students diligence, patience and success in their studies, after which he gave a blessing and sprinkled those present with holy water.

During the school year, students will enjoy classes on the basics of the Orthodox faith, creative meetings and joint parish events.
