The KESO at the Korydallos Psychiatric Penitentiarytranslated

The Psychiatric Penitentiary of Korydallos (P.S.K.K.) was visited by members of the KE.S.O. of the Ecclesiastical Foundation of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens on September 29, 2026 together with the Panhellenic Union of Optical Optometrists following their visit in July. This visit is the first to a Penitentiary, after the start of the Church year 2026-2027.

The first part of it concerned the delivery of 30 pairs of glasses to prisoners at P.S.K.K. And the second part concerned the completion of the examination of the prisoners, who did not have time to be examined the previous time.

From the KESO - Ecclesiastical foundation of the IAA, Maria Tatari and Sofia Konsta-Peppa, the director of the organization Mary Pini and the communication manager Konstantinos Salevourakis participated.

The optometrists from P.E.O.O. participated: Giorgos Klados, vice-president, as well as the member of the Union, Giorgos Vasilikoudis, optometrist.

They were welcomed by the Chief Warden of the P.S.K.K. Mr. Antonis Aravantinos and the head of the Social Service, Ms. Vaso Fragakoulias, together with her colleagues, Stavroula Kavkoula, Athanasia Magavetsou, Maria Stefa, Eleni Athanasopoulou.
