Reception of the Holy Icon of Agios Tychonos the Holy of Holies in the Holy Church of Agia Triado Nafpliontranslated
On the occasion of the feast of Agios Tychonos the Agioreitos, the Holy Church of the Holy Trinity of Nafplio welcomed the Holy Icon of Agios Tychonos on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 22, 2026, followed by the solemn Vespers with a feast and divine sermon. During the Holy services, the Preacher of the Metropolis of Argolis, Archimandrite Leontios Xintaropoulos, presided.
The Holy Icon of Agios Tychonos will remain in the Parish of Agia Triado for the blessing of its residents and was painted by a family of the parishioners of Pronoia.
The vicar of the church Fr. Konstantinos Serros thanked the Donors of the Holy Icon as well as the Priests and the faithful who participated in the solemn Vespers for Saint Tycho.
On the feast day of September 23, 2026, Orthros will be celebrated and then the Divine Liturgy.
