It's nice that Metropolitan Filotheos read the message from Patriarch Bartholomew. Thessaloniki is a big city, such exhibitions have a tradition there. I hope it will really help local people in work and business.

It's good they had the Metropolitan read the Patriarch's message right there at the opening. That fair has been going strong for 90 years now, so maybe this one really will bring some new business to the city like he hoped. Our choir sang at a similar blessing once for a local food expo, and it always feels like a solid start.

It's nice they kept the tradition going with Metropolitan Filotheos doing the blessing and reading the Patriarch's message on the spot. That fair has been a big deal in Thessaloniki for 90 years, so hopefully it does bring some real jobs and business like he wished for the city and the whole country. Our choir here once sang at the agiasmos for a community festival, and it felt good to be part of something practical like that.
