August 14, 2026 · 1 min read

The Patriarch of Serbia, Mr. Porfirios with today's statement to the Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church.  "The story about the establishment of the Diocese of Boka Kotorska in Montenegro would be ridiculous if there was no bad intention, a well-planned malicious campaign that, by emphasizing this issue, aims to create confusion, create confusion and create mistrust among the Orthodox faithful," His Beatitude notes.

"We have never even thought about, let alone talked about and discussed this issue, and especially we have not developed any strategy. Therefore, the establishment of the Diocese of Boka Kotorska in Montenegro does not exist as an issue in our Church", concludes the Patriarch.
