The Cemetery Holy Church of Agios Ioannis the Theologians celebrates the Theologian of Dirfyontranslated

On Friday, September 25, 2026, the eve of the Feast of the Transfiguration of Saint John the Theologian, the solemn Vespers was celebrated in the celebratory Cemetery Church of Saint John the Theologian, the Theologian of Dirfyon. The solemn Vespers was celebrated by Elders Fr. Athanasios Salliaris, vicar of Kato Stenis Dirfyon, and Fr. Gerasimos Vassilopoulos, vicar of the parish, with the participation of many believers from the Theologian.

After the end of the service, a litany of the holy icon of Saint John the Theologian took place around the Holy Church.

This was followed by a presentation of traditional dances by the members of the dance department of the Cultural Association of Nea Artakis "I Pantanassa", giving a special festive character to the festive event.
