The memory of Saint Osioparthenomartyr Paraskevi was celebrated in the Metropolis of Alexandroupolis with reverence, rejoicing and splendor on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The parishes of Lagyno and Provatonos are celebrating, while the chapels in Makri and Ferres as well as on the island of Samothraki also attracted a large number of believers. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Alexandroupolis Mr. Anthimos officiated at Orthros and presided over the high priestly Divine Liturgy in the settlement of Provatonos, with the participation of the residents being large. Metropolitan Mr. Anthimos wished everyone, especially the celebrants, and spoke timely about the life and faith of the honored Saint Paraskevi.
