Another important act of love and offering to fellow man took place today, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the Spiritual Center of the Holy Metropolitan Church of Saints Constantine and Eleni Karditsa. As part of its pastoral and social ministry, the Holy Metropolis of Thessaliotidos and Phanariophersalon held the 22nd blood drive of the Ecclesiastical Blood Donation Foundation of the Holy Metropolis.

Blood donation is a practical expression of love and solidarity towards our fellow human beings in need. By donating a bottle of blood, each volunteer blood donor offers a precious gift of life to a person who may need it.

The action took place alongside the 1st General Priestly Assembly, which was held at the Holy Metropolitan Church.

The Holy Metropolis had extended an invitation to all those who could donate blood, thus strengthening the effort of the Ecclesiastical Blood Donation Foundation.
