On Monday, September 7 and Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the prescribed sacred services for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary were held, at the Cathedral Church of the Armed Forces "Panagia Pantanassa", at the "PAPAGOU" Camp. The services included Great Vespers on the eve, as well as Orthro and Divine Liturgy on the day, after which the Litanization of the Holy Icon took place inside the "PAPAGOS" Camp, in an atmosphere of rapture and respect.

Хубаво е, че и в армията пазят празника на Богородица както трябва. Литийното шествие с иконата вътре в лагера „Папагу“ сигурно е било особено – войниците да се съберат в такова благоговение. Благодаря за снимките от службата.

It's good to see the military keeping the feast properly with Vespers, Orthros and Liturgy, then the litany of the icon right inside the Papagou camp. The soldiers must have appreciated that quiet moment of respect in the middle of their routine. Thanks for posting the report.

The litany around the camp grounds must have been something special, especially with everyone pausing in the middle of their day. I remember attending a similar service at a smaller chapel once and the silence during the procession really stuck with me. Did you get a chance to see any photos from inside the camp?
