Ambrose of Korea: "The source of heavenly blessing always remains open to the whole world"translated

Despite the fact that the second phase of the iconography of the Assumption church in the city of Joenju has not yet been completed, the church already reminds us of the wonderful hymn of our Church: "The Church is a bright sky/ appeared everywhere, illuminating the faithful; while we are here, we cry out; strengthen this house, Lord"! With these philanthropic feelings, the faithful participated on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in the Orthro and in the Divine Liturgy, in which the Metropolitan of Korea and Exarch of Japan Ambrosios presided, with the vicar of the parish, Father Hilarion Jeong, as his co-celebrant.

In his sermon, the Metropolitan, on the occasion of the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand, developed the topic: "The secret of the Heavenly Blessing" and concluded as follows: "The source of the heavenly blessing always remains open for the whole world. But it can be closed, not by God's will, but by our unbelief and ingratitude. It is the duty of Christians to open it with faith and thanksgiving. Faith and thanksgiving: these are the two "hands" with which we receive the heavenly blessing."
