The Diocese of Bukomba, taking advantage of the September holidays in the Schools of Tanzania, hosts at the Missionary Center of St. Euphemia Kasamua in 2 periods high school boys and girls from Geita and Mwanza. The other camp in Kasikizi operates during the June holidays for Bukomba, Ikiba, Mulemba and Misseni districts. The motto is "I LOVE THE ORTHODOX FAMILY" and the names of the groups, the Hagiographic Readings and the evening dialogues refer to this theme. This year in the Diocese of Bukomba, the year is dedicated to the "ORTHODOX FAMILY".
The teenagers combine camp life with prayer, the teaching of hymns and orthodox songs, play, nutrition, sports, etc.
The person responsible for the service is Nun Paraskevi from the Missionary Monastery of Agios Kosmas Arnaia, which is located in Mission with the blessing of Rev. Metropolitan of Ierissou Mr. Theoklitou. Collaborators are Catechists Dimitrios and Vassilios Papadopoulos from the Parish of Agia Fotini of the Diocese of Nea Smyrna.
