The feast of the Advancement of the Holy Cross was celebrated in I.N. Dormition of the Theotokos Kiveriustranslated

On Saturday, August 1st, the Orthros service was held at the end of which the cross was worshipped, and then the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Reverend Prot. Petros Athanasopoulos. After the end, the consecration took place before the Cross. In the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin of Kiver, a very faithful copy of the Cross of the Great King and Equal Apostle Constantine, made from a piece of Holy Wood, is kept.

The Cross was donated to the Parish by the Professor of the I.M.M. Vatopediou Archim. Elder Ephraim in the Parish of Kiverio in 2025.
