Serbian Prime Minister: Serbian monuments at risk in Kosovo are part of world heritagetranslated

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Professor Dr. Dzuro Matsud, Serbian monuments at risk in Kosovo and Metohija. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia inaugurated the exhibition "Serbian Medieval Monuments in Danger" on July 30, 2026, at the National Museum in Vranje. The exhibition is dedicated to Serbian cultural properties included in the List of World Heritage in Danger – such as the monasteries of Dečani, Gračanica and the Patriarchate of Pecs, as well as the Church of Our Lady of Ljeviska in Prizren.

The Serbian Prime Minister emphasized that the monasteries of Visoki Dečani, Gračanica, the Patriarchate of Pecs and the church of Panagia Lieviska are not only masterpieces of medieval architecture and art, but also centuries-old testimonies of the identity, faith, culture and historical continuity of the Serbian people in the region of Kosovo and Metohija.
