Reception of the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary the Healer Pyrgiani in the Gardens of Chaniatranslated

Special spiritual joy and emotion was experienced on the two days of September 26 and 27, 2026 by the Transfiguration Parish of Sotiros Perivolia, Chania, with the reception of the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary the Healer Pyrgiani and the Ordination to Eldership of Deacon Dimitrios Manoledakis, under the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kydonia and Apokoron Mr. Titou. On the afternoon of Saturday, September 26, the reception of the Holy Icon took place with splendor, which was transferred to Perivolia with the blessing of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Edessa, Pelli and Almopia, Mr. Ioel, and then a Grand High Priestly Vespers was celebrated.
