The Association of Chanters of the Attica Region for the meeting with Archbishop Hieronymostranslated

Formal meeting with His Beatitude the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Mr. Jerome was held on Friday, September 18, 2026, by the President Mr. Spyridon Pavlakis and the members of the new Board of Directors of the Attica Regional Chanters Association "Romanos the Melodious & John the Damascene". During the meeting, the members of the new Board of Directors had the opportunity to pay their respects to His Beatitude and to discuss with him issues concerning the chanting world, the ministry of chanters in the lecterns, as well as the need to preserve and promote Byzantine music and the chanting tradition. The meeting was also attended by the General Secretary of the Federation of Chanters' Associations of Greece (OMSIE), Mr. Fotios Angelos Mandalos, as well as the Arch Master of the Great Church of Christ, Mr. George Demelis.
