Memorial for the 20th anniversary of the death of the blessed Archbishop of Crete Timotheustranslated

With feelings of emotion and a living memory, on Sunday July 26, 2026, at the Holy Sanctuary of Agia Fotini in Hellinoperama, a Multi-priestly Divine Liturgy and the annual High-priestly Memorial Mass were held to mark the completion of twenty years since the ordination of the blessed Archbishop of Crete, Mr. Timotheus. The Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos, officiated at the procession of Orthros, while the Most Reverend Archbishop of Crete, Mr. Eugenios, presided over the Holy Polyhierarchy Collector.
The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Arkalochori, Kastelli and Viannos, Mr. Andreas, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos and the Most Reverend Bishop of Knossos, Mr. Methodios, were present as concelebrants.
The Eucharistic Assembly was attended by a number of priests and deacons, as well as a number of believers who came to honor the memory, to pray for the repose of the soul and to express their gratitude to the great Primate of Crete, who sealed with his presence the ecclesiastical and social history of the place.
