The Full Moon of August in Monuments, Museums and Archaeological Sites 2026translated

The Ministry of Culture is again organizing the August Full Moon events in 2026, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage, on Friday August 28, 2026, offering the public unique evenings of culture under the light of the August moon. On the night of the Full Moon, 126 archaeological sites, historical sites, monuments and museums across the country will welcome visitors with free admission, offering a unique experience of getting to know our cultural heritage, under the light of the August moon.
As part of the celebration, events will take place at 61 archaeological sites, monuments and museums, while a further 65 sites will remain open to the public with free entry from 19:30/20:00 to 23:00/24:00.
This year's event is not limited to the night of the Full Moon, but includes events that will take place from August 26, 27, 29 and 30.
