The arrival of the Holy Chariot of Saint David in the Chapel of the Holy Cross of Panoramatranslated

On the afternoon of Friday, September 11, His Holiness the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Mr. Philotheos, welcomed the Holy Cara of Saint David the Elder at the Metropolitan Chapel of the Holy Cross of Panorama. The reception was attended by many clergy and a large number of believers. Venerable Cara was celebrated by the Professor of the Holy Monastery of Saint David the Elder, Archimandrite Gabriel.

With the arrival of the Holy Cara, the Feast of the Holy Chapel begins, which this year will be special, as next Sunday, September 13, our Bishop will celebrate the Inauguration of the Church.

After the reception, the High Priestly Vespers was held, at which our Pastor officiated.

The divine word was preached by the respected Professor Gabriel, who referred to miracles performed by the Grace of God by Saint David.

Tomorrow, Saturday September 12, at 7 pm the Holy Relics of the Holy Martyrs will be received, which our Metropolitan will carry and which will be placed inside the Holy Table on the day of the Inauguration.
