The cultural heritage unites young people through the action of the Metropolis of Kitroutranslated

The Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos, through its Spiritual Center "Agios Photios", continues its dynamic active participation in the European Erasmus+ programs for the Youth sector, confirming its extroverted orientation and its practical support for young people. As part of the action of the Holy Metropolis entitled "Educational Archeology and Digital Cultural Heritage", thirty young people from Poland, Serbia and Romania are being hosted these days in Pieria, participating in actions that promote the acquaintance with the history, culture and tradition of the place, while at the same time strengthening intercultural dialogue and cooperation between the peoples.

The participants visited, on Thursday, July 2, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos Mr. George at the Metropolitan Palace. The Metropolitan welcomed them with great joy, welcomed them to Pieria and referred to the importance of getting to know different countries, cultures and traditions, as a bridge of peace, mutual understanding and mutual respect.
