Occupied Parishes: Event of memory and honor "Cyprus - Asia Minor. From the City to Mesaoria"translated

With the blessings of His Beatitude the Archbishop of Cyprus Mr. Georgiou, the occupied Parishes of the Holy Archdiocese (Division of Mesaoria) invite you to the music and dance event of memory and honor: "Cyprus - Asia Minor. From the City to Mesaoria" with the Musical Scheme of Stefanos Pelekanis. The event will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in the square of the Cathedral of the Apostle Barnabas in the Archdiocese, on the occasion of the 1400th anniversary of the Akathistos Hymn and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the National Anthem of the Republic of Cyprus.

Start time: 7.00 pm

The event will be welcomed by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, the President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Annita Dimitriou, and His Beatitude the Archbishop of Cyprus, Mr. George.
