The Patriarch of Antioch met in Rome with the Lebanese Ambassador to the Vaticantranslated

In the context of his official visit to Italy, the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Mr. John I welcomed Mr. Fadi Assaf, Ambassador of Lebanon to the Vatican, at the hotel where he is staying in Rome. His Beatitude and the Lebanese diplomat discussed in the context of the visit of Mr. John on the Apostolic Throne of Rome, as well as current issues in the region.
The meeting was attended by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of France, Western and Southern Europe, Mr. Ignatius (Al-Houssi), the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Heliopolis, Mr. Antonios (Al-Suri), who are accompanying the Primate of the Antiochian Orthodox Church on his trip to Italy.
